SKB is Stockholm’s biggest landlord on the side of the City’s public housing, with all profits reinvested back into the association. Prior to 2015, SKB hired us to develop a new graphic identity, new website design and develop the association’s magazine.
With over 80,000 members and 7000 apartments throughout Stockholm, SKB’s communication take place in many different contexts. The website, a member magazine, annual report, but also information in the stairwells and in the yard. Prior to 2015, SKB wanted to make a fundamental change in virtually all of their communications.
NORR Agency was given this assignment after SKB invited us and other agencies to present ideas and thoughts about SKB’s communication. With our editorial background, we wanted to help tell about SKB in a genuine, objective and engaging way. We also wanted to create a graphic platform that communicated SKB’s values in the best way.
During 2015–2016, we developed SKB’s new graphic identity in cooperation with SKB’s communication department and two of our freelance art directors. The work has included a new logo, graphic manual including image mannerisms, website design and redesign of the member magazine.
We are responsible for the production of SKB’s member magazine “Vi i SKB”, with a circulation of 70,000 copies. It is published twice a year and is a central part of SKB’s communications with its members.
In parallel, we help SKB with ongoing productions, such as their Annual Report, member mailings, brochures and other printed material. Car decals, information signs and contract templates are other examples of communication materials we produce for SKB.
We are responsible for the procurement and project management of print production in several of our projects with SKB. In addition to quality and price, we always consider the environmental aspects in the choice of printer, paper and transportation. The production is climate-compensated and the paper is FSC certified.
