This January, NORR Magazin’s Karen Hensel participated in the international jury to the Scandinavian Outdoor Awards. Over the course of two days, clothing and equipment from a variety of categories was put to the test until the jury had decided on their favorites. “I was particularly impressed by the backpack Future Labs 05 A from Bergans of Norway, which won the Sustainability Award. Together with the Finnish fiber producer Spinnova, Bergans has used material that comes from raw forestry by-products and which can be recycled. Not to mention that it looks cool and is comfortable!” says Karen.
