Mindfullness in NORR

In NORR’s extra thick autumn issue we report on research into the healing powers of nature. Other themes include locally produced food experiences, autumn running in the mountains and the design of outdoor products for women. As soon as the magazine had been sent to the printing house, the editors traveled to Iglekärr to visit the new NORR-sponsored nature reserve. Cover Image: Jonna Jinton.

Sustainability a common theme

The new backpack Re-Kånken, which is made of recycled polyester, adorns the cover of Naturkompaniet’s magazine 365 No. 4. The entire issue is filled with Naturkompaniet’s work on sustainability and CSR – two areas that also characterizes NORR Agency.

Iglekärr becomes a nature reserve

On August 6, the Iglekärr old growth forest located north of Gothenburg was inaugurated as a nature reserve. The forest is owned by the conservation foundation Naturarvet, which we donate money to via our project NORR Green Partner. Since 2011, we have been able to contribute to protecting 12,980 square meters of the forest in Iglekärr.

Scandinavian Outdoor Award, jury project

In July, the summer issue of Scandinavian Outdoor News, which we produce on behalf of the industry association SOG, was distributed around Europe. Another SOG project is our involvement in the jury that designates the winner of the Scandinavian Outdoor Award. For two days in the middle of July, our product expert Karen tested outdoor products to their limits in the Alps.

Advertorial for Primus

Primus is launching a new series of two burner stoves for the summer. On behalf of Primus, we have produced a magazine advertorial for the new Onjaköket stove, in both Swedish and German. The message is that Primus’ new series makes gourmet cooking in nature simpler, more fun – and better looking.

Scandinavia’s best coastal adventures and innovative architecture in nature are the issue’s two main themes. We also test sustainable shell jackets together with our partner Greenroom Voice. Norrmagazin.de gets a new structure

Our German site norrmagazin.de has grown both in terms of content and number of visitors. Last fall, we began a major renovation of the site in order to, among other things, expand the section where our travel partners are visible. A redesign was also included in the project, which was completed in April.

Leather guide in store windows

Together with illustrator Nadia Nörbom and Naturkompaniet’s product experts, we made a quick learning guide for different materials – inspired by classic school posters – which are used in the magazine 365 and as posters in Naturkompaniet stores.

SKB annual report

skb-arWhen we help the Stockholm Cooperative Housing Association (SKB) with their annual report it is not just about numbers. SKB is a democratically structured society with over 80,000 members. The annual report explains the many different sides of SKB’s success.

Finnish 365 increases to three issues

365-Fi-coverPartioaitta is Finland’s largest retail chain in the outdoor sector and is a part of Frilufts AB, as well as Naturkompaniet. In spring 2012, we began to produce a version of the 365 publication twice a year. For 2016, the publication is expanded to three times a year.
