365 wins the Swedish Publishing Prize

Since 2011, we have been producing the outdoor magazine 365 on assignment from Naturkompaniet. This year, we finally found the time to send in our nomination to the Swedish Publishing Prize. Wednesday, 7 November 365 was announced the winner of the category “customer magazine” of the year. Read our acceptance speech in the upcoming January issue of 365!

Suston debuts in North America

Two years ago we started our own magazine, Suston – Sustainable Outdoor News. This English-language B2B magazine has been distributed across Europe. Now, we are launching Suston in USA and Canada, with a first “best of” issue at the fair Outdoor Retailer in Denver. In 2019, we will also be increasing to three issues per year.

Our first reader trip

When NORR Magazin organized its historic first reader trip, the destination was obvious: our hometown, Stockholm. For four days, our German guests could wander Nacka Nature Reserve, paddle kayak around Långholmen, cycled at Djurgården, visit our favorite restaurants and cafes – and of course have a coffee break at the editorial desk.

Outdoor triathlon in Skåne

Three adventures in one week – by mountain bike, on foot or in a kayak – was the assignment when NORR’s editor Karen Hensel met up with the film team Planetvisible from Zurich. The three reportages, which will also become films, are commissioned by Visit Skåne to market the region internationally.

”Glad midsommar” in Berlin

Along with the concert organizer Nordic By Nature we have organized the music festival Midsommar Berlin since 2011. On June 22, over 3000 people came to the club and event space Urban Spree to listen to young Scandinavian bands, as well as to make wreaths from flowers and dance to the classic midsummer song “Små grodorna” – and read our NORR magazine.

Sustainable Communication

We help several companies to tell about how they work with sustainability, for instance in the form of native advertising. For the summer issue of Suston we have produced material for the Swiss company Bluesign, pioneers within chemical management, Bergans of Norway and the American brand KEEN Footwear.

The future of Stockholm

In the latest issue of the member magazine ”Vi i SKB”, that we produce for Stockholm Cooperative Housing Association (SKB), we investigate the development and the future of Stockholm. How can Sweden’s capital continue to grow fast and at the same time make the transition towards a more sustainable society?

Network of photographers

Our network includes many of the leading photographers within the outdoors, nature and conservation. We provide a taste of their work on this site. Erlendur Þór Magnússon has taken the SUP-picture, Karin Alfredsson the winter hiking picture and Fredrik Schlyter took the canoe picture. Several of the models come from NORR Agency’s own editorial team.

Record numbers for 365!

365 Magazine, which we produce together with Naturkompaniet, is one of the titles that is increasing most in Swedish press. According to the latest Orvesto survey by Kantar Sifo, the number of readers increased by a whopping 50 percent during the period 2016-2017. 365 Magazine currently has 162,000 readers across Sweden!

Magazine with a mission

The second issue of our own title, Suston Magazine, was launched in time for the international ISPO Fair in Munich. We’re thrilled with the positive response it has received, and that many outdoor companies are joining us in our journey toward a more sustainable outdoor industry.
